EOO Inc. is located at 269 North Mathilda Avenue, Sunnyvale, Ca., in the heart of the Silicon Valley and close to major government prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin.

EOO Inc. leases a facility in Sunnyvale, CA with approximately 7,500 square feet of floor space. About 3,000 square feet is electro-optic laboratory and assembly space, where system development and testing is carried out. In addition, the facility has over 2,200 square feet of manufacturing, machine shop and warehouse space. Expansion within our current building is possible and could effectively double our facilities to 15,000 square feet. 

EOO Inc. acquired all of the specialized electro-optic and laboratory test equipment in the leveraged buyout from GTE. The following is a sampling of the extensive equipment and facilities owned by EOO Inc.:

• A stimulated Brilluoin scattering (SBS) lidar system testbed including a transform limited linewidth laser and an integrating-sphere, Fabry-Perot, direct-detection receiver
• A HAVE LACE two-terminal laser communication system for digitized voice and data transmission over a line-of-site path
• A van capable of mounting a CO₂ lidar Area Detection System (ADS) including the optical hardware, laser, receiver and an HP computer system for data acquisition and analysis
• A C++ software/firmware development test bed
• A large assortment of special optical and laboratory test equipment including Newport benches
• A precision model shop including a lathe, drill press, band saw and two end mills

• A 10,000 Class Clean Room with 100 Class capability for handling optics and optical assemblies
• A thermal-vacuum test chamber for testing high altitude and/or space-based electro-optic system performance.
• A LAN server with a DSL internet connection supporting a mixed environment of PC and Macintosh workstations
